Correspondences between Committee members, authorized during the June 2000 Greek WDDM conference, to draft final documents for approval

Hello, everybody! I have read Ottorino´s paper and find it in line with our
ideas, so I am in favor of him becoming a member. If we get Senator Gravel to
join the Committee, I believe we should elect him chairman. The reasons are
obvious: his great dedication and experience, his important social position
which would help us to get publicity - and we need that! He is a brilliant
speaker and thinker. So, please, consider my proposal.
Greetings  Jiri

As requested by the Forming Committee, Jiri and I were requested to work out
an edited version of our Founding Document and Mission Statement. Under
separate cover, I am sending my version to Jiri. When we are both satisfied
with the text, we will send it to you to vote for approval. After that , I
recommend to send it to the Pericles Network, the CICDD, and to disseminate
it, through as many servers and WEB-sites as we could, for information .

Keep well: George Sagi.

Dear George Kokkas , and Committee members:

I suggest to any and all members of the Committee that if you want to propose specific items regarding the final form if the documents Jiri and I are working on to bring them into a proper English language documents then please do so soon. I promised you that my version will be ready for your scrutiny by the end of this month. Jiri is also working on it. You will vote on it formally when it is in an acceptable form.

I can tell you already that I deleted specific references to Mautner's book, and the Greek Forum's, in my proposed version. However, I have attempted to incorporate their major principles as well as all of your written ideas in your presentations during the 2nd Congress and after, circulated by email.

Again, if you want to pre-empt our work, send your proposals point by point, in brief and concise sentences, as the original Founding Mission was written .

We also have to work out other documents, a Rules of Conduct, including membership and voting rules, before we can vote.

Thank you: George Sagi

Subject: [wddm-list] Re: Structure of the WDDM C committee

Dear  Jiri,   I think that we all should try to find alternative ways of  Structure for our WDDM ,other than using the traditional  forms and names, such as Chairman, President, Secretary etc.
I suppose that we can try initially the work and experience of a collective chairmanship. It can be consisted of  3-5 persons and it maybe  could be the ideal  solution  for the already proposed  permanent Executive  members of our formal Organization.
In case of accepting the 5-persons chairmanship of our WDDM,  everyone should have his own responsibilities, duties and capacities. For instance in  our case,  you could be officially  authorized  (as it has  been already proposed and accepted) to have  the responsibility of the Secretariat, George Sagi  could be nominated ( I think  he also accepted it) to be our official spokesman, Senator Gravel ( if he  first joins our  WDDM and be accepted by our majority , could probably be responsible for our foreign (or even public or whatever else he can and wishes to do) relations or coordinator, another person could  be authorized as responsible for our Statutes and Structure affairs and one  more responsible for our Financial affairs
This is my proposal and  I would like if Pino could put it in  our electronic voting procedure, giving us also the chance of  voting persons to be responsible for the above capacities at once. I think it is  VERY IMPORTANT to begin with  DD procedures for everything we try to establish in order to persuade everybody that we are&n bsp; nor a common formal Organization , but a DD Alternative Organization.
I agree with your proposal of having in a worldwide level a maximum of 12 members of this Executive WDDM Committee  and the rest 7 members could  rotate , when we  increase ourselves and we will  have more  DD supporters, who will have the  Knowledge of DD, good will and who will  be serious to cooperate with us, accepting also our principles.

             Friendly: George Kokkas
